ELUCIDATION OF THE INSTITUTE EMBLEM

The Institute emblem is representative of the branches of engineering that constitutes the H.R.H THE POWIET and its motto.

            The BRIDGE represents the Civil Engineering department. Figuratively, it implies bridging the gap between human wants and technical advances by the technical fraternity.

            The SECTION OF THE GEAR WHEEL represents the Mechanical, Automobile and the Agriculture Engineering department. It symbolizes movement and progress of humankind with the technological advancements.

            The TOWER represents the Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication and the Instrumentation Engineering department. It is symbolic of harnessing the resources for generation of energy and strengthening communication across the land and seas.

            The three divine words, “WORK IS WORSHIP” in the emblem symbolize the motto of H.R.H THE POWIET. To work for the betterment of humankind is the highest form of worship possible and this has been the belief of all at the institute since its inception.
